Hey. Just looking around with my ears and I found your music.
Really cool stuff! Layton's Easy (dnb mix) grabbed me first.
I like what I have heard so far and will definitely be back soon.
cool thanks for the kind words and thanks for the listens. I have been working hard on these tunes. I did lose a new song and part of a new song. A rap colab too(my parts, worked on for two weeks, very bummed). I was just about to dump them in my Verbate. It happened so fast. Any how I learned the hard way. If you think you could cool if not cool. I thought it might be fun to hear a different sound, from a different point of view. I do it all myself, so an alternate perception would be interesting. Have a great weekend, peace Jostel
Joshua,,,,Came back by for a few more listens, I have listened to so many artist's so many genre's, really feel like I'm getting an education as well as a good grasp of what's out there to make real judgments, some are just soft to be nice and not discouraging, most are right on point, I am starting to be a lot more truthful. Running through your tunes as I type, I think you are very talented, that comes across in your sound, I believe, my preference in this genre is of the faster paced, love to hear a song from ya that has a faster Tempo, curious to what it might sound like, any how stopping by, ran the tunes a few times, and sending some love hope all is well Jostel....
Sadly the truth is, that it seems I'm the main listener though. There's a few hits here and there, from people who stop by, but for the most part, they listen to one song and move on. Damn attention spans! They aren't what they used to be...
Yeah, I was doing a search and a band in Germany already had it since 1989, I didn't start using it until 2002 so I decided that the time had come to shed my skin. Besides, that I think the time had come for me to expand beyond that, I'll always use Depression as a personal moniker, but as a creative entity I have to look more outward.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I love your stuff, especially Through the Gate. Your instruments have nice balance in your tracks. What programs do you use? Do you happen to use Reason?
Just a heads up, I have to drop Depression as my band name, but I'm keeping as my personal artists name, and you had to say my name was a downer! Hehe!! This is the profile where I'll be posting the new stuff, and re-posting the already posted stuff. Take care.
Hey dude, thanks for the feed back, went back and turned up the volume on all the drum tracks. You and a few others had mentioned that point. Thanks. That's why I'm here, to Iron out the bugs, get input so I can address any problems/tracks before mastering... Thanks for the kind words and your time, hope all is going great, much love Jostel, by the way gave another run through on your tunes, they are tight, anything in the future, can't wait to listen......
